A test in which ultrasound is used to examine the heart. In addition to providing single-dimension images, known as ‘M-mode echo’ that allows accurate measurement of the heart chambers, the echocardiogram also offers far more sophisticated and advanced imaging.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity in your heart by translating the heart’s electrical activity into line tracings on paper. The spikes and dips in the line tracings are called waves.

A Stress echocardiogram is a test that involves exercising to increase your heart rate, with an ultrasound of your heart performed before and after the exercise.

A medical consultation via phone or video-call so the Dr can continue to treat patients between visits to the rural clinics. Patients can usual discuss symptoms, diagnosis and treatment from the comfort of their home.
